Mario Merl
Co-Founder
Mario Merl is a man of many passions and a highly accomplished professional in the yachting industry. Born and raised in Salzburg, Austria, Mario earned his degree in finance before embarking on a career that would ultimately take him all over the world.
For the last 20 years, Mario has worked in the yachting industry, serving as a captain on busy charter yachts ranging from 50-70 meters in size. During this time, he developed a keen interest in yacht construction, which led him to return to the university in Hamburg to study Naval Architecture.
Since completing his studies, Mario has worked on numerous projects as an Owner’s Representative and Build Captain, using his extensive knowledge of finance and yacht construction to provide his clients with top-quality service.
Despite his busy schedule, Mario also finds time to pursue his many hobbies, which include kitesurfing, helicopter snowboarding and hang gliding. These thrilling activities reflect his sense of adventure and love for exploration, as well as his desire to constantly push the boundaries of what is possible.
Mario’s many passions and impressive professional accomplishments make him a highly sought-after expert in the industry. His unique combination of financial, architectural, and nautical expertise, coupled with his adventurous spirit, allow him to provide his clients with a comprehensive service that is unmatched in the world of yachting.
